Our Story
Kru Al Park grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and stayed close to home for college - he attended Georgia Tech, & upon graduating, he started his career working for a SaaS start-up company located in the city.
Quickly, Kru Al discovered that he loved working with people, building relationships, crushing sales, and ultimately helping his accounts grow. That passion earned him a Sr. Account Executive title, only after a few years of working in the industry.
Then came an opportunity that changed his life.
That company Al was with (for a few years now), transferred him to the other side of the world with the job to expand their sales presence across the Asia Pacific Region (APAC). He got to experience working with colleagues from Hong Kong, Philippines & Malaysia, but ultimately, his VP of Sales moved him to the beautiful country of Thailand. While Al was out there, he found myself immersed in something completely different from the big city life & the corporate world: Authentic Muay Thai.
Al trained with Thai fighters every day (after work), learning the art not just as a sport, but as a way of life. He trained, sparred, competed, and eventually had the opportunity to step into the ring for multiple professional fights, himself. Muay Thai taught me discipline, resilience, humility, confidence, and most importantly, the value of having a great team around you.
In 2022, he was transferred back home to Atlanta. And even though he was back with his company folks (which he loved), the Muay Thai scene in the US didn’t feel the same.
He kept training, nonetheless, and eventually, he began teaching this new martial art to folks all around Atlanta. The nostalgia & stress of working as an AE in the US (with no Muay Thai), continued to build. So Al tried making some changes & took on a Customer Success role at another SaaS company in a different industry.
Being that this CSM role was fully remote as well, Al started thinking about how disconnected and stagnant so many of him and his new colleagues had become. COVID had changed the way we worked. We spent more time sitting behind screens, working from home, jumping from meeting to meeting, and missing the human connection that comes from doing something together.
And that's when the idea hit him:
Why not bring Muay Thai into the workplace?
Not to turn employees into fighters - but to give them a chance to step away from the desk, move their bodies, challenge themselves, laugh, connect with each other, and relieve some of the stress that comes with modern work through punching bags and kicking pads.
Muay Thai is uniquely suited for this. It gets people moving, requires teamwork and communication, builds confidence, and creates an experience that people actually remember.
Today, I teach Muay Thai at Georgia Tech - the same school where I started my journey - while also leading private and group training sessions. Through these experiences, I've seen firsthand how powerful Muay Thai can be when it's used to bring people together.
That's why I created Korporate Kickbox.
My goal is simple: to bring the energy, discipline, connection, and fun of Muay Thai into the workplace and create wellness experiences that employees genuinely look forward to.
Because wellness shouldn't feel like another meeting on the calendar.
It should be something you actually want to show up for.
Korporate Kickbox brings beginner-friendly Muay Thai sessions straight to your office! Our sessions are built to burn off work stress, lift employees' energy, and pull teams together through an intense, interactive team-building experience - with no experience needed! Each session runs 60 to 120 minutes on-site with all equipment provided (boxing gloves, hand-wraps, soft mats, & kick pads). Scaled to groups of 8 to 30, we incorporate partner striking combinations, pad work, and authentic Muay Thai combat skills with zero actual contact amongst your employees. Our program is designed for desk-folks, not pro fighters.
Workplace stress and burnout are among the biggest threats to a team's health and output, and 91% of employees whose workplace encourages wellness report being satisfied with their job. Physical wellness programs work on three fronts at once: they give people a real stress reset that screens and PTO can't, they leave teams loose, laughing, and re-engaged, and - because shared wellness activities build camaraderie that improves workplace relationships and morale - they create the kind of connection that's hard to manufacture in a conference room. It's genuinely tough to stay stiff with a coworker after you've thrown punches, kicks, elbows, & knees together for 60 minutes! The payoff shows up where it counts: stronger engagement, better retention, and higher productivity.risepeople + 2
What sets Korporate Kickbox apart is who's leading the room. Sessions are led by Kru Al Park - 10+ years of training, 7 professional fights in Thailand, and 8+ years in enterprise B2B software. He speaks fighter and corporate fluently, so every session lands as approachable and professional, never intimidating.
